Garryrichard Stud has been in the Hickey family since 1870. Traditionally a National Hunt Stud, it now produces not only National Hunt horses but Sporthorses for all disciplines. National Hunt stallions such as Artic Slave, Over the River, Carroll House, Luso and Jeremy have stood at Garryrichard over the years. Hillstar, Almighar and Casago II currently stand at the stud.

Denis Hickey took over ownership and management of Garryrichard Stud from his father Michael, and now runs it successfully with his wife Lucy, and sons William and Patrick.
